McDonald’s Scholarship Application
The applications for the RMHC scholarships are available online from October to January.

Students can upload supporting documents directly via the online application, but if they are unable to do that, they can also mail in the supporting documents. However, they should make sure they follow the directions because incomplete applications will not be considered. Mailed applications should also be certified so applicants can receive notification of when their materials arrive for processing.

Once an application is processed, which can take several weeks, applicants can view their status on the application home page.

McDonald’s Scholarship Winners
Winners are notified between April and June, with checks being issued by the local RMHC Chapter or ISTS (International Scholarship and Tuition Services) directly to the winner’s college or university. Recipients of the scholarship are responsible for enrolling as full-time undergraduates in the fall of the year in which the scholarship is received. Selection criteria is based on the following:

  • Financial need
  • Community involvement
  • Essay content
  • Academic achievements and transcripts
